Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you will analyse financial data, prepare client presentations, and assist in the execution of financial transactions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of finance and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze market data to provide insights.
• Prepare quarterly performance reports for clients.
• Provide analytical support for strategic planning and decision-making.
• Engage in client-facing situations and maintain professional relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred

Experience

• 3 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance

• Valuation Skills

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 or above
• CMA Certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Bloomberg and other financial tools: Proficient in using Bloomberg for market analysis and research.
