Construction Manager

Job Description

Seeking a talented Construction Manager to lead our construction efforts in Port Elizabeth. This role requires a strong leader with excellent project management skills to coordinate activities, manage budgets, and ensure that all projects are executed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects.
• Ensure quality control measures are implemented effectively.
• Monitor project budgets and prevent cost overruns.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates.
• Assist in hiring and training construction team members.
• Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with local authorities for permits and inspections.
• Evaluate contractor performance and provide recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Construction Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience preferred
