Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer with Engineering Solutions Co., you will work on the design and execution of critical civil projects in Bloemfontein. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. An ideal candidate should possess strong technical abilities and a keen understanding of civil engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Evaluate environmental impacts and propose sustainable construction practices.
• Prepare cost estimates and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze data to support decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant civil engineering experience
