Job Description

As a Residential Advisor, you will play a vital role in managing residential facilities and supporting students in their daily lives. Your primary focus will be to foster a friendly and secure living environment while ensuring the smooth operation of housing facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop policies ensuring the well-being of all residents in student housing.
  • Monitor daily operations and maintenance requests to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Enhance students’ living experience through planned educational programs and workshops.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by facilitating cross-departmental partnerships.
  • Address and resolve conflicts between residents, providing mediation support as needed.
  • Administer budgetary responsibilities, tracking expenditures and financial reporting.
  • Prepare reports on housing occupancy and resident satisfaction metrics.
  • Engage with students to gather feedback on housing services and improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's Degree in Student Affairs or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience managing student housing or related facilities for over five years.
