Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring the highest quality of food for our customers. The Cook will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, and implementing food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily food prep and cooking responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with head chefs on special menu items and promotions.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.
  • Assist with kitchen stock management and organizing food supplies.
  • Train junior kitchen staff on culinary techniques and kitchen procedures.
  • Work shifts flexible enough to accommodate evenings and weekends.
  • Prepare food in accordance with dietary restrictions and special requests.
  • Contribute to a positive kitchen culture through active teamwork and support.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certification
Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Restaurant Cook, preferred in high-volume kitchens.
