We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' medical histories and current health conditions.
  • Guide patients through their treatment journeys.
  • Involve patients in decision-making regarding their health.
  • Ensure effective communication with patients and their families.
  • Document treatment and progresses in electronic health records.
  • Maintain a safe and clean practice environment.
  • Conduct routine health screenings and immunizations.
  • Mentor junior physicians and medical students when applicable.
  • Provide culturally competent healthcare to diverse populations.
  • Support health promotion activities within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Completed internship and community service is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a primary care setting preferred.
