Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will provide expert advice on medications, manage prescriptions, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a crucial role in patient care, assisting individuals in understanding their medications and promoting health and wellness within our community.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret physician prescriptions effectively.
  • Advise patients regarding over-the-counter medications and supplements.
  • Implement medication therapy management plans for patients.
  • Prepare and label compound medications as necessary.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with patients for medication adherence.
  • Promote health and wellness initiatives within the community.
  • Participate in pharmacy marketing and outreach activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years in a community pharmacy setting.
