Responsibilities

• Organize and lead various types of tours including walking, cycling, and sightseeing.
• Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Monitor and adapt to the needs of the group, addressing any concerns.
• Provide detailed information about attractions and answer questions.
• Encourage positive guest experiences to enhance overall satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism or related field preferred
• Additional languages are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Geography knowledge

Certifications

• Advanced Tour Guide Certification
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Knowledge of local flora and fauna: Expertise in identifying native plant and animal species for informative tours.
