Job Description

We are seeking a competent Legal Advisor with a strong background in corporate law to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in providing expert legal advice, particularly in compliance and risk management. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, developing legal strategies that mitigate risks and enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address legal concerns.
• Develop policies and procedures for legal compliance.
• Prepare and maintain legal documentation and records.
• Engage in client relationship management and support business development efforts.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree from an accredited institution
• Postgraduate legal qualification is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant legal experience in a corporate setting.
