Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Midrand. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our engineering products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, and a passion for excellence in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies.
• Perform regression and integration testing for all product releases.
• Work closely with developers to ensure quality during the software development lifecycle.
• Document test cases and results, ensuring traceability.
• Explore and implement new testing tools to enhance efficiency.
• Facilitate training sessions on testing best practices.
• Participate in project planning meetings to assess testing scope.
• Monitor and measure testing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship to junior testers.
• Develop and maintain clear and concise test documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing

• Test Management Tools

Certifications

• Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent
