Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure all designs are viable and cost-effective.
• Research and implement new technologies into existing systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare engineering reports.
• Manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
• Communicate project status and updates to upper management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding materials and components.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• PhD is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field

• AutoCAD
• Mechanical Systems Design

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
