Structural Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects in Nelspruit. In this role, you will conduct structural analyses, prepare detailed designs, and ensure compliance with building regulations and standards, while also providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and document structural systems using relevant software.
• Review and modify designs based on feedback from other team members.
• Interact with clients to assess their needs and project requirements.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Evaluate existing structures and recommend improvements.
• Prepare technical reports on structural assessments.
• Foster relationships with industry stakeholders and local authorities.
• Contribute to environmental sustainability initiatives in design work.
• Keep abreast of the latest engineering techniques and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
