Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing effective training programs that meet the evolving needs of our workforce. You will play a crucial role in identifying skill gaps and developing training strategies to facilitate employee growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source external training resources when necessary.
  • Create e-learning modules for remote training options.
  • Prepare and manage training budgets and resources.
  • Regularly update training programs to reflect changes in the industry.
  • Support the onboarding process with tailored training for new hires.
  • Report on training progress to senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
  • Master's degree or additional certifications in Learning and Development is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development or related roles

Certifications
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
  • Train the Trainer Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Knowledge of Evaluation Methods: Understanding of various evaluation methods such as Kirkpatrick's model.
