Job Description

Join us as a Youth Programme Coordinator where you will lead strategic initiatives aimed at youth empowerment in Pretoria. Your role will involve working closely with local communities and organizations to foster supportive environments for youth development.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local schools and community groups.
  • Identify funding opportunities for youth projects and assist in grant writing.
  • Ensure programmes comply with local regulations and best practices.
  • Tailor programme delivery to suit diverse youth populations.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance programme quality.
  • Organize and lead team-building activities for youth participants.
  • Manage crisis situations and provide support to youth in distress.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or Community Development
  • Postgraduate qualification is desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in youth services or community programmes
