Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Durban team. As a key member of our development team, you will ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycles and a passion for QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the testing of applications across various platforms and devices.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product management and development teams to understand and detail requirements.
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and methodologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Develop metrics to measure and report the effectiveness of the QA processes.
• Drive quality initiatives within the team to promote higher standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Relevant certifications in QA are highly valued

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

Technical Skills

• API Testing

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Agile Tester Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
