Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead and manage our construction sites in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, manage site personnel, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop site-specific plans and strategies to ensure project success.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design intent and specifications.
• Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained in a timely manner.
• Keep abreast of site health and safety protocols to ensure all team members are compliant.
• Motivate and mentor site staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
• Report regularly to management on site progress, milestones, and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Building or Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision.

• Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Certified in first aid procedures for construction environments.
