Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a pharmacist with excellent communication skills to enhance our customer service. In this dynamic role, you will provide pharmaceutical care, educate patients on medication use, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions and consultations.
• Advise patients on proper medication usage and adherence.
• Conduct health screenings and administer vaccines as needed.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality assurance programs.
• Train and mentor pharmacy assistants.
• Contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving customer service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy or relevant field
• Any additional certifications related to Pharmacology are advantageous

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Experience in optimizing medication regimens for patients.
