Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to serve our pet patients in Durban. This role involves diagnosing health issues, performing surgical procedures, and advising clients on animal care. Our practice values continuous learning and compassion, making it a great place for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care for a variety of domestic animals.
  • Conduct health screenings and interpret lab results.
  • Perform dental procedures and oral surgery.
  • Promote preventative care and wellness for pets.
  • Assist in the management of clinic operations and staff.
  • Engage with local community to promote animal welfare initiatives.
  • Investigate and address health concerns in domestic animals.
  • Lead outreach efforts related to animal adoption and care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Additional qualifications in animal behaviour preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic
