Job Description

Join us as a Physiotherapist, where you will assess patient needs and devise appropriate treatment plans. You’ll play a key role in improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life of our patients in various clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine physical needs and limitations of patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide hands-on therapy including exercises, massage, and manual therapy.
• Educate patients about their conditions and effective management strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Participate in continuous professional development and team training.
• Provide support and guidance to patients and family members.
• Conduct follow-up visits as necessary to assess progress.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives within the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Master's degree in Physiotherapy is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in a clinical setting

• Manual therapy techniques

Certifications

• Registered Physiotherapist
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in sports rehabilitation: Knowledgeable in managing sports-related injuries and rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with pediatric rehabilitation techniques: Experience working with children in therapy settings.
