Job Description

As a Cutting, Punching, and Press Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender, you will play a crucial role in producing quality parts using precision equipment. This involves setting up machines, monitoring production processes, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce parts from metal and plastic materials.
• Ensure that machinery is functioning effectively and safely.
• Train new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Identify and remedy any defects in products during the production process.
• Assist in inventory management of materials used in production.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to enhance product quality.
• Participate in regular training and professional development workshops.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Machine operation
