Job Description

As a Sheeter Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery that cuts and slices paper and other materials to specific sizes. This role involves monitoring machine operations, maintaining quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operations of sheeter machines and adjust controls as necessary.
  • Inspect output for quality and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment and report issues to the maintenance team.
  • Assist with operator training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Compile production reports for the production manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets.
  • Ensure materials are loaded appropriately for the sheeter.
  • Identify process improvements for efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical or vocational qualification in manufacturing
  • Experience in operating other cutting machines is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in the packaging industry is preferred.
