Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and innovatively solve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify engineering specifications for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with procurement for materials and components.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements.
• Document and maintain records of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams on product testing.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams.
• Assist in the training of new engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or similar role

• AutoCAD

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in product development: Involvement in the complete product development lifecycle is advantageous.
