Piping Designer

Job Description

As a Piping Designer at Tech Innovations Inc., you will be responsible for creating piping and instrumentation diagrams and designing piping layouts. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to select materials and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise piping layouts and specifications.
• Create and manage 3D models and 2D drawings of piping systems.
• Conduct calculations for pipe sizing and pressure drop analysis.
• Work interactively with the project team to ensure design quality.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress.
• Ensure all designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Perform fieldwork as necessary to gather information for designs.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design within the oil and gas sector

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Certification as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)
