Responsibilities
Oversee the installation and dismantling of rigging equipment.
Conduct thorough safety checks on rigging equipment before and after use.
Work closely with directors and designers to interpret rigging requirements.
Assist in the load-in and load-out process of shows and events.
Ensure proper storage and maintenance of all rigging gear.
Monitor the performance of the rigging systems throughout productions.
Assist in emergency procedures related to rigging failures.
Document rigging setups for future reference and training.
Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for rigging systems.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Diploma in Theatre Production or related field is advantageous
Experience
3+ years in rigging for live events or theatre
