Veterinarian

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Veterinarian with a strong commitment to animal welfare. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of conditions in animals, ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will work closely with a team of veterinary assistants and ensure a high standard of service is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments and diagnostic procedures for a variety of animals.
• Manage treatment for chronic diseases and conditions.
• Work alongside other veterinarians and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Engage in continuous learning through seminars and training.
• Lead health and wellness campaigns in the community.
• Facilitate client education on animal behavior and health.
• Handle administrative duties related to patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team objectives.
• Monitor inventory and requisition medical supplies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mixed-animal practice preferred

• Anesthesia Management
• Emergency Care

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (VECCS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
