We are seeking a motivated Event Coordinator to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will plan, organize and execute various events, ensuring top-notch service and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of events from conception to completion.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
Assist in the management of event budgets and track expenditures.
Conduct site visits and inspections of venues to ensure their suitability for events.
Assist in creating event themes and concepts in line with client expectations.
Utilize event management software to track and manage event details.
Prepare materials and presentations as needed for client meetings.
Gather and respond to client feedback to enhance future event experiences.
Support and manage staff during events, ensuring the team is well-prepared.
Identify areas for improvement and innovation for future events.
Advantageous
Knowledge of local venues and suppliers: Familiarity with Durban's event venues and local suppliers.
Crisis Management Skills: Experience in quickly resolving issues that may arise during events.
