Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Event Coordinator to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, working closely with clients to ensure their vision is realized. Your ability to multitask and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering high-quality events.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and private parties.
  • Manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rental.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs.
  • Conduct site visits and prepare event layouts and schedules.
  • Oversee event set-up and ensure all aspects run smoothly on the day.
  • Handle post-event evaluations and feedback to improve future events.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in event planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
