Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the operations of our properties in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of property management, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and that tenant needs are met promptly. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants and community stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices for facility management and maintenance.
  • Analyze facility performance data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Oversee security operations and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Coordinate with marketing to promote available spaces.
  • Guide and train staff members on facility operations.
  • Manage lease agreements and renewals.
  • Ensure timely payment of property expenses.
  • Foster a culture of safety and respect among staff and tenants.
  • Assist in the preparation of property audits and inspections.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Certification in Facility Management is a plus

  • 5+ years of facility management experience in commercial properties
