Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Leather Currier who will be responsible for processing, preparing, and finishing leather hides. The ideal candidate should have experience in leather treatment processes and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on leather materials.
• Shape and cut leather hides based on project specifications.
• Use techniques to enhance leather quality.
• Collaborate with craftsmen to meet design requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Train new staff on leather processing techniques.
• Ensure stock levels of materials are adequate for production.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or relevant qualification
• Certification in leather goods handling is a plus

Experience

• Experience in the leather goods industry is an advantage.
