Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Tank Car Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience inspecting tank cars used for transporting hazardous materials, ensuring safety and compliance at every step.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and ensure the cleanliness and suitability of tank cars for hazardous materials.
• Document inspection findings and propose immediate actions for any identified issues.
• Utilize testing equipment effectively to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate findings with the Maintenance Manager and Operations team.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements in your work.
• Provide support in developing and improving inspection procedures.
• Assist in training new staff on safety and inspection processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certification in hazardous materials handling is a plus

Experience

• Experience handling hazardous materials

Languages

• English: Fluent
