We are searching for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support our clients at HealthFirst Therapies. You will engage with clients to evaluate their functional abilities and create effective therapy plans. This role requires a compassionate approach and a strong commitment to improving clients' overall well-being through innovative treatment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients to determine their therapy needs and establish goals.
• Create tailored therapy programs that promote independence and improve daily functioning.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and adjust plans as necessary.
• Educate and train clients' families on supportive care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of clients' progress and treatment.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote occupational therapy.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical environment

Certifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist (COT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of Stroke Rehabilitation Programs: Experience in therapy for stroke recovery and rehabilitation.
• Skills in Cognitive Rehabilitation: Understanding and experience in cognitive recovery strategies.
