Job Description

Join our passionate team as a Public Health Officer. You will play a key role in developing and executing health initiatives that address community health issues and enhance public health practices in Durban.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage public health programs aimed at improving health outcomes.
• Design and implement community initiatives and educational programs.
• Facilitate partnerships with various stakeholders for successful program execution.
• Advocate for public health policies that benefit the community.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Support training for healthcare professionals and volunteers.
• Prepare and present reports on public health findings and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health initiatives

Certifications

• Certified Public Health Administrator (CPHA)
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
