Job Description

As a Food Safety Scientist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our food products. This position requires conducting research, implementing safety measures, and developing strategies to prevent foodborne illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor food safety management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and establish preventive controls.
• Lead investigations of food safety breaches and product recalls.
• Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Analyze trends in safety data and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate and update existing safety protocols.
• Participate in food safety training programs for employees.
• Prepare presentations for management on food safety performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field
• Master's degree in Food Safety is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the food industry
