Job Description

As a Lottery Clerk, you'll be the face of our gaming operations, entrusted with providing an exceptional customer service experience. This role requires you to process ticket sales accurately while assisting players with queries regarding games and payouts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates precision in handling transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle cash management, including balancing cash drawers and processing payments.
  • Assist in marketing promotional materials for lottery games.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for player inquiries.
  • Ensure proper functioning of point-of-sale systems and lottery dispensers.
  • Train new staff on lottery operations and customer service expectations.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Assist with administrative duties as necessary.
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently and diplomatically.
  • Monitor and maintain the security of gaming equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment focused on exceptional service.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in Customer Service or Sales would be advantageous
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or retail environment
Technical Skills
  • Point-of-sale systems

Languages
