Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices to assist clients in establishing green initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in conducting assessments, developing reports, and implementing solutions that promote environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report on sustainability performance for clients.
• Conduct field studies and collect samples for analysis.
• Develop risk assessments related to environmental compliance.
• Support project management in incorporating sustainability practices.
• Guide clients in reducing their carbon footprint.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions about environmental impact.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on environmental strategies.
• Evaluate ongoing programs for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Publish articles and case studies on successful sustainability projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field
