Job Description

As our Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our hotel in Johannesburg. In this role, you will ensure that our guests receive outstanding service while optimizing operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop hotel staff to meet service standards.
• Manage guest relations and promptly address complaints or issues.
• Control budgets and financial plans while striving to maximize revenue.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Organize and oversee special events and conferences within the hotel.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and adapt to meet changing customer preferences.

Advantageous

• Experience with Revenue Management Systems: Knowledge of systems used for optimizing hotel room pricing and inventory.
• Fluency in additional local languages: Knowledge of local languages can enhance guest relations.
