Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing projects aimed at improving environmental conditions. You should have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a commitment to sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental protection projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct research to improve current environmental practices.
• Facilitate training sessions on environmental topics.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities.
• Work with internal teams to promote environmental sustainability.
• Assess potential environmental impacts of new technologies.
• Advise on energy efficiency and conservation initiatives.
• Support the development of environmental policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or engineering
