Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team in Port Elizabeth. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing employee engagement strategies, addressing workplace concerns, and promoting a healthy workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African labour laws and a proactive approach to conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve workplace satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations issues and best practices.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to enhance employee retention.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to align employee relations strategies with overall business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate employees on their rights and obligations.
  • Review and update company policies to ensure they reflect current legislation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking advice and support on workplace matters.
  • Analyze trends in employee relations and recommend improvements.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in all employee relations programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation and reporting.
