We are seeking a passionate Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team in Port Elizabeth. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing employee engagement strategies, addressing workplace concerns, and promoting a healthy workplace culture. Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve workplace satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations issues and best practices.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to enhance employee retention.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to align employee relations strategies with overall business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate employees on their rights and obligations.
  • Review and update company policies to ensure they reflect current legislation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking advice and support on workplace matters.
  • Analyze trends in employee relations and recommend improvements.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in all employee relations programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation and reporting.
Job Requirements
  • Labour Law Knowledge Deep understanding of South African labour laws and regulations.
  • Conflict Resolution Skilled in addressing and resolving workplace disputes.
  • Interpersonal Communication Exceptional skills in communicating and building relationships.
  • Problem-solving Strong ability to analyze situations and provide solutions.
  • Certificate in Human Resource Management
  • Labour Relations Certification
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Conversational)

  • Familiarity with workforce diversity practices: Experience in implementing practices that support a diverse workforce.
