Job Description

As an Event Planner at Creative Events Ltd., you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning, from initial concept through execution. We are looking for a creative individual with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed proposals based on client specifications.
• Conduct site visits for potential venues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Implement creative solutions to enhance the attendee experience.
• Provide regular updates to clients on event progress.
• Assist in developing promotional materials.
• Manage RSVP lists and attendee communication.
• Oversee the execution of audiovisual elements for events.
• Stay within budget while achieving high-quality outcomes.
• Network with industry professionals to build business relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Relevant certifications in event management are valuable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience managing corporate events

Certifications

• Certified Event Designer (CED)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans is a plus.
