Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Hospitality Manager to lead our hotel operations in Durban. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, overseeing staff performance, and managing guest relations to enhance their experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Lead and motivate staff to provide outstanding hospitality.
  • Develop marketing plans to drive occupancy and revenue.
  • Review financial statements to manage operating costs.
  • Address guest inquiries and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and safety protocols.
  • Schedule and organize staff training sessions.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their experience.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for cost-effective purchasing.
  • Maintain hotel facilities to ensure they meet industry standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in hotel management
