Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Advisor with extensive experience in providing legal counsel and support across various sectors. This role involves drafting agreements, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for the organization.
• Draft and negotiate contracts while ensuring legal compliance.
• Perform risk management assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support the organization in legal disputes and litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Assist with employment law issues and compliance training.
• Maintain a library of legal resources and updates.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior legal staff.
• Engage with external counsel to address complex legal matters.
• Participate in strategic planning to align legal objectives with business goals.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent will be considered
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years in a corporate legal environment
