Job Description

As an SEO Specialist in our Pretoria office, you will implement and manage SEO strategies for our clients, aimed at improving website traffic and boosting online presence. You will analyze web performance, conduct competitor research, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance search engine visibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-page and off-page SEO audits.
• Track and report on website rankings and traffic changes.
• Develop strategy for content optimization.
• Implement best practices for local SEO.
• Engage in A/B testing for landing pages.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns.
• Advise on social media strategies that complement SEO.
• Manage third-party SEO tools and resources.
• Benchmark competitors’ SEO performance and strategies.
• Enhance user experience, which will contribute to better SEO performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing

Technical Skills

• Keyword Research Tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs)
• Google Analytics
• Content Management Systems (CMS)

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Google Analytics Certification
• SEO Certification from a recognized provider

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with PPC campaigns: Practical experience managing PPC advertising for improved traffic.
