Job Description

As a Tombstone Carver, you will design and create bespoke memorials according to client specifications. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work with various materials, including stone and marble.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Use CAD software for precise design work when necessary.
• Participate in workshops to improve carving skills and techniques.
• Document processes and materials used for each project.
• Offer restoration services for existing memorials.
• Conduct quality assurance checks before delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of materials and tools inventory.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in sculpture or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 2-5 years of professional carving experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Hand Tool Proficiency

Languages

• English: Fluent
