Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Auditor in Durban. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk assessments and plan audit processes accordingly.
  • Document audit procedures and findings comprehensively.
  • Review financial statements for conformity to overall accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with management to implement audit recommendations.
  • Analyze trends in financial data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their audit needs.
  • Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
  • Report audit results to senior management timely.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards in audits.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years auditing experience, preferably in financial services
