Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and offer insights for our clients in Durban. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist in strategic planning and financial modeling.
  • Ensure proper allocation and tracking of financial resources.
  • Facilitate financial training for non-financial team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial targets.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient reporting.
  • Prepare documentation for financial audits.
  • Manage and optimize financial systems and software.
  • Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies.
  • Continuously seek ways to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • A Master's degree in Finance is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
