Job Description

We are seeking a qualified lawyer to join our Johannesburg office as a Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice to clients, assist in contract negotiations, and represent clients in litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze legal issues pertaining to client cases.
• Develop legal strategies to address client needs and objectives.
• Train and mentor junior legal staff as required.
• Ensure all legal practices adhere to current laws and regulations.
• Cultivate strong client relationships through regular communication and support.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Master's degree or specialization in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on legal advisory

Certifications

• Admitted to the High Court
• Certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution

• English: Fluent
