Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations through effective legal guidance and advice. You will be entrusted with managing contracts, compliance, and potential disputes while collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a passion for the law and helping businesses navigate legal challenges.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal contact for internal stakeholders.
• Review proposed contracts for legal compliance.
• Assist in negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and partners.
• Evaluate potential legal risks and offer solutions.
• Prepare briefs and opinions on complex legal issues.
• Facilitate training sessions on legal topics for staff.
• Support corporate governance initiatives.
• Stay current with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with external counsel on complex matters.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree from an accredited institution
• Master's degree in Law is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including corporate legal practices
