Job Description

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our Johannesburg-based team. In this role, you will develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms that will enhance our analytics capabilities. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to leverage various data sources, designing scalable solutions while ensuring quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain machine learning models and applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Conduct data preprocessing and feature extraction to improve model performance.
• Evaluate and optimize existing machine learning algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to research initiatives and implement new algorithmic approaches.
• Assist in the deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
• Collaborate to troubleshoot and debug machine learning solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in machine learning or AI development
