Job Description

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our Johannesburg-based team. In this role, you will develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms that will enhance our analytics capabilities. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to leverage various data sources, designing scalable solutions while ensuring quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative machine learning models and assist in integrating with applications.
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and expectations for AI solutions.
• Analyze data requirements and transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Support performance tuning and optimization of existing ML models.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain best practices in coding standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in machine learning or AI development
