We are on the lookout for a meticulous Risk and Compliance Manager to steer our compliance initiatives in Durban. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing risk management strategies whilst ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the compliance monitoring system and processes.
• Conduct regular reviews and update company policies.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for compliance practices.
• Work with legal teams to interpret regulatory requirements.
• Respond to compliance inquiries from clients and partners.
• Facilitate risk assessments across different functions and projects.
• Promote a risk-aware culture through awareness campaigns.
• Report compliance findings and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Compliance, Finance or related field
• Professional certification in compliance is highly regarded

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the corporate sector
