Legal Advisor

Job Description

Join our Cape Town office as a Legal Advisor where you will provide comprehensive legal support across all areas of our operations. You will be integral in navigating legal risks and advising on compliance matters, enhancing our commitment to ethical and legal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance and compliance issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Manage legal risks and liabilities across the organization.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel as required.
• Ensure compliance with South African laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
• Participate in training sessions for staff on legal matters.
• Assist in dispute resolution and litigation processes.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent in Law
• Admitted Attorney or Advocate is highly preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a legal advisory role
